Milestone 3 Completed: Huge Congratulations to the Winners! 🎉

Hey Klever Community,

We are thrilled to announce the winners of Milestone 3 from our ongoing Hackathon! First off, let’s remind everyone of the milestone goal: 200K transactions on the KleverChain over a 90-day period. :rocket:

These incredible projects not only reached the target—they smashed it! Here are the champions:

:clap: Congratulations to these projects for their remarkable performance, and a massive shout-out to the entire community for staying engaged and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible!

Also, we’re happy to announce that the prize payments for Milestone 3 will be made in the next few days, so keep an eye on your wallets! :money_mouth_face::money_with_wings:

Milestone 4 Is Here – What’s Changing?

Now, onto the next phase: Milestone 4. This time, we’ve raised the stakes a bit:

  • Milestone 4: 300K transactions on KleverChain from 01/09 to 30/11 + the deployment of a Smart Contract on the KVM testnet related to your project by 30/11.

Key Changes:

  • The Smart Contract deployment on the mainnet has been removed since the KVM will be available on mainnet in Q1 2025. So, this round focuses on building in the testnet environment.
  • Your Smart Contract must have a specific purpose—no “transaction generators” allowed. We want meaningful contributions! :raised_hands:
  • You need to suggest at least one improvement for the KVM (or its flow) that is applicable, recognized, and accepted by the Klever team.
  • Error reports are welcome and encouraged! Let’s build a better system together.
  • The Klever forum Klever Blockchain/Developers topics will be the exclusive channel for communication, questions, and suggestions about the KVM. Our team will be there to support you.

In addition, here’s how the transaction criteria has been updated:

  • A CSV with all transactions for the period must be submitted, including the date/time (UTC), hash, type, and metadata, proving ownership or origin from your project(s).
  • Each transaction can only be counted for one project, so make sure you label your transactions clearly. Any overlap or duplicate reporting between competitors will result in the transaction being disregarded.

Why This Matters

By developing a Smart Contract for the KVM testnet, you’re not only showcasing your technical skills but also positioning yourself ahead of the game. Once the KVM launches on mainnet, you’ll already have a fully-functional contract ready to go, giving your project a huge advantage and expanding the potential of Klever Blockchain. :rocket:

This is your chance to refine your tools, bring innovative solutions to life, and play a crucial role in the growth of the Klever ecosystem. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Thank you once again for your amazing participation, and good luck to everyone in this exciting new challenge. Let’s keep pushing forward, and as always—together we win!

Best of luck :metal:

Hey @XPort_App,

You and all of the participants have been doing an amazing job. So, for sure, the developers involved on the development of SM should have some suggestions to improve our environment. Since it’s very new for us, any suggestion is welcome.

TY for your passion on it

Yo my friends… We’re on the last day of this spectacular (and so long) hackathon. Regarding the SC, I want to kindly remember yall of the requirements, and special this one:

“hat is applicable, recognized, and accepted by the Klever team”

Hi, Duka! Could you elaborate on this requirement in more detail? While I lead the team, I’m not a developer myself, so it’s hard for me to evaluate the technical merits or potential improvements. That said, I’ve discussed this with my team and have some feedback to share.

Should I create a separate thread on this topic?

should the suggestions for improvement be included here or in the mail for the evaluation?
I personally think that some people have already contributed to the testing and setting up of the environment as well as the forwarding to fix the problems when building the contracts in this thread that it is now relatively stable and have contributed to the fact that everyone could now create their contracts

@Andreas_Hennersdorf Taking this opportunity, I want to thank you once again, my friend, for your help and active support during the development of our smart contract! We believe you’re doing an amazing job and are contributing greatly to the growth of the Klever ecosystem, and there should be no doubt about that!

thanks for the information @Duka
One more question about the improvement suggestions.
I think this is very individual and also depends on our own level of knowledge about creating with Rust and Smart Contracts!
Personally, I’m already working on more smart contracts for our games, where we always notice something new. If the team rejects the submitted suggestions, will we receive a message and can we submit new ones during the 10 business days?
