:rocket: BLOCK Governance Smart Contract Launched on KleverChain Testnet: What’s Next?

At XPort Labs, we are thrilled to announce that as part of Stage 4 of the Klever Hackathon, the new smart contract for decentralized governance of the BLOCK token is now live on the KleverChain testnet! :tada:

This marks the beginning of a new era of transparency and democracy in the ecosystem. BLOCK token holders can now actively participate in key decision-making processes and shape the future of the ecosystem.

:hammer_and_wrench: What is the BLOCK Governance Smart Contract?

This is a tool that empowers the community of collective node owners on the BlockPort network, built on KleverChain, to make decisions collectively through a secure and transparent voting system.

Key areas of governance include:

  • Setting validator node commission rates.
  • Adjusting staking rates.
  • Activating or deactivating nodes.
  • Distributing rewards between token holders and ecosystem development.
  • Setting or adjusting the minimum staking threshold.
  • Burning tokens to regulate supply.

:bulb: All votes, proposals, and their outcomes are immutably recorded on the blockchain, ensuring full transparency.

:white_check_mark: Successful Deployment on KleverChain Testnet

Very soon, every BLOCK holder will be able to become an active participant in governance.

We extend our gratitude to the Klever team for their mentorship, as well as to Pandemic Games for their support in deploying the contract. We also deeply appreciate the efforts of everyone participating in the testing process and contributing to improving the smart contract.

But this is just the beginning!

To make governance even easier and more accessible, we are developing an intuitive dashboard that will allow you to:
:one: View active and completed proposals.
:two: Read detailed descriptions of proposals.
:three: Vote in just a few clicks.
:four: Track voting results in real time.

:globe_with_meridians: The dashboard will be available as both a web app and a mobile-friendly platform.

:crystal_ball: Future: Scaling for All KleverChain Tokens

The BLOCK Governance Smart Contract isn’t just a tool for one token. In the near future, it will become available to all KleverChain communities.

Token creators will be able to implement their own governance systems, allowing their communities to participate in decision-making. This will unlock new opportunities for decentralization and ecosystem growth.

At XPort, we’re dedicated to improving the user experience, making user convenience and a friendly interface our top priorities. In our latest update, we’ve rolled out several enhancements on our beta testing environment at beta.xport.app, aimed at simplifying user registration for ITOs on our platform. Here’s what’s new:

  • Preview of previously uploaded data is now active!

  • Preview of uploaded logs and banners is now available!

  • Progress indicator color in ITO details has been changed to match the project’s primary color.

  • Project name display in ITO details has been fixed.

  • Token ID has been added to ITO details.

  • Button text color for “Participate” and purchase amount buttons now adapt to the project’s primary color for improved contrast.

  • Token cost value in the list of available ITOs has been corrected.

We will continue refining the functionality of our decentralized launchpad to meet our uncompromising standards for quality, security, and user convenience.

Our Milestone Journey: Reflecting on Progress Toward the 4th Stage of the Klever Hackathon

Three months have passed since the start of the fourth stage of the Hackathon, and it’s the perfect time to reflect on our progress. We’ve worked tirelessly to cross the finish line with pride, and today we’re proud to say that all our goals have been accomplished.

Throughout this stage, we’ve focused on strengthening our community and uniting it around a shared vision. Our rewards program successfully generated over 300,000 interactions with the XPort Hub platform and the XPORT token. Remarkably, this was achieved without airdrops—every transaction was organically driven by our community.

We’ve also made significant progress toward the launch of our exchange platform, Swopus.com, which is being developed as a secure, user-friendly, and accessible solution for our users.

In addition, we deployed our proprietary smart contract on the testnet, marking an important step toward creating self-governed communities with transparent decision-making systems. The next challenge is to prepare the contract for public beta testing and finalize the integration of a user-friendly dashboard that will seamlessly connect it with XPort Hub, making it an essential part of our ecosystem.

This year has been far from easy. Despite working with limited resources, we pushed ourselves to the limit to achieve our goals. Now, as we approach the final milestone, we hope the community and the Klever team will appreciate the dedication and results we’ve delivered.

We’d also like to express our sincere gratitude to the Klever team for giving us this opportunity to participate in the Hackathon. Not only has this initiative inspired us to aim higher, but it also helped us secure additional resources to fund our development efforts. This support was invaluable in helping us move forward, even in challenging circumstances.

A heartfelt thank you to our community for your unwavering support and belief in us throughout this journey! Together, we’ve grown stronger.
