Node stuck in “Waiting” status for several days

Hey everyone, maybe there’s a reasonable explanation for this, but one of my nodes has been in Waiting status for several days now. I first noticed it a few days ago but didn’t pay much attention, since it had happened before - even when the delegation amount was above the required minimum, the node eventually switched status on its own. However, yesterday I noticed that it’s still stuck in Waiting, and the total delegation dropped below the minimum. I added some extra delegation hoping the node would change status, but that still hasn’t happened after two epochs. Has anyone experienced this before? Is it a bug, or is there a logical reason why the node isn’t activating?

Hey my friend, let me update you.

After an initial review, we didn’t find any suspicious behavior or technical issue directly related to what you reported. We have several improvements, updates, and fixes that will be activated next Tuesday together with the KVM release. Once that’s completed, we’ll take another close look at this matter if it happens again.

For now, the good news is that your validator has become eligible again. However, since it’s only around 900K above the minimum requirement, it might temporarily drop back to Waiting status due to delegation movements between validators.

If that happens and your validator doesn’t return to Eligible status as expected, please let us know so we can investigate further.
