We are maintaining our unwavering commitment to bi-weekly transparency regarding the planning, execution, and strategic direction of the Klever Blockchain.
As we have stated previously, the advancement of our planned 2026 roadmap features remains strictly suspended. Sprint 104 was executed with a total and unrestricted focus on network security, deep monitoring, and infrastructural robustness. This exact same focus is being applied to our current cycle, Sprint 105.
We are giving absolute priority to completing the remediation of the CertiK audit findings and protecting the stability of the blockchain before we expand any product fronts. All our actions are directed toward expanding the robustness and security of the network to prevent any future vulnerabilities.
Important Milestone Achieved: We are proud to announce that one of the primary goals of Sprint 104 was successfully met. The v1.7.21-RC2 (Release Candidate 2) was successfully launched on August 21st, containing all the critical remediations developed to date.
Important Pivot: We have received an additional report with new findings from CertiK, and we have already provided feedback on 90% of them. For Sprint 105, we have added all the remaining findings forwarded by CertiK to date. Once these are finalized, we will launch a final version consolidating all fixes. We currently believe that in approximately 2 more sprints, we will gradually create the space to resume actions directed at realizing our 2026 roadmap. When that time comes, we will analyze and communicate the impacts caused to the 2026 roadmap planning, which will undoubtedly see changes.
It is important to reinforce that all critical corrections found by CertiK have already been patched and deployed to production.
Here is a transparent breakdown of what we delivered in Sprint 104, and the aggressive hardening we are executing right now in Sprint 105.
Epic 1: Proof of Security Audit (The Core Focus)
- Sprint 104 (Delivered): This epic produced the largest volume of risk reduction for the sprint, successfully closing numerous audit items. The team delivered crucial remediations, particularly protecting the network against state corruption, resolving native instance leaks that reduced memory pressure, and preventing unmeasured resource consumption. We also successfully reinforced gas validations and protected the network’s internal validator classification systems.
- Sprint 105 (Planned): This epic remains our dominant focus, representing 76% of the planned sprint volume. We are focusing on two fronts: closing out the remaining lower-impact findings currently in code review, and absorbing the new batch of findings from CertiK.
Epic 2: Improve Security & Vulnerability Defense
- Sprint 104 (Delivered): We successfully pushed a high-priority P2P hardening update across the finish line. We imposed strict limits on direct-send inbound streams, implemented read/idle deadlines, and enforced stream limits on seed nodes. This directly mitigates external stress vectors like slow-loris attacks and prevents the exhaustion of our network resources.
- Sprint 105 (Planned): We are prioritizing an essential security enhancement to our core data validation protocols. We are implementing stricter authentication measures to ensure uninterrupted network stability and maximize our resilience against potential external disruptions.
Epic 3: Core Infrastructure & Maintenance
- Sprint 104 (Delivered): We delivered significant operational reliability upgrades, specifically closing out the sequential broadcast of transactions by nonce in the Multisig API.
- Sprint 105 (Planned): We are focusing on network observability. We are actively developing a unified statistics dashboard for the Proxy V2, which will consolidate fee, burn, and mint data while exposing 24-hour transaction counts and KLV volumes.
Epic 4: Ecosystem Tools & Releases
- Sprint 104 (Delivered): Most importantly, we successfully delivered and launched the
v1.7.21-RC2release. We also formally registered the return of corrected findings to the CertiK team, moving beyond just code fixes into auditable communication.
Consolidated Closing: Our Commitment to You
Sprint 104 advanced consistently in reducing risk surfaces and delivered a vital Release Candidate, with special merit given to the completed P2P hardening and the resolution of critical audit items.
Sprint 105 is designed to be a continuation of this rigorous process. We are dedicated to emptying the review queue of existing CertiK remediations, tackling the new batch of lower-impact findings.
While the continuous flow of CertiK reports has extended our security timeline, it guarantees that the Klever network will emerge stronger, more reliable, and robust against sophisticated threats.
