Klever Blockchain Product Update #5: Unyielding Focus on Security and Network Robustness (Sprint 100 Review & Sprint 101 Planning)

As we promised, we are maintaining our bi-weekly rhythm of absolute transparency regarding the planning, execution, and evolution of the Klever Blockchain.

Today, we want to be incredibly clear about our current trajectory: the advancement of our planned roadmap features remains strictly suspended.

The transition from Sprint 100 (recently completed) into Sprint 101 (currently executing) continues with a total, unrestricted focus on network security, deep monitoring, and infrastructural robustness. We are operating in an industry landscape that is currently facing continuous, highly coordinated attacks executed by advanced artificial intelligence. In response, we are leaving no stone unturned to ensure our network is a fortress.

To achieve this, we have officially engaged CertiK to work intimately alongside our engineering team. They are actively involved in helping us expand our network’s robustness, resolve deep-level findings, and proactively anticipate novel attack vectors before they can be exploited.

Here is the transparent breakdown of our ongoing security pivot, what we delivered in Sprint 100, and the aggressive hardening we are executing right now in Sprint 101.

:shield: Epic 1: Improve Security (The Forefront of Operations)

  • Sprint 100 (Delivered): We moved decisively to close identified risk vectors. The team successfully patched an unauthenticated WebSocket vulnerability, corrected a validator commission calculation overflow, and strictly validated the network’s behavior for when KLV reaches its maxSupply. We also completed a deep vulnerability analysis on consensus signatures to ensure network integrity.

  • Sprint 101 (Planned): We are moving from reactive patching to proactive defense. This sprint, we are implementing proactive defense mechanisms across targeted network endpoints to ensure operational stability and mitigate potential overloads. More importantly, we are actively creating internal adversarial testing protocols to rigorously validate the transfer principle on kApps, and we are scheduling automated systemic economic checks to detect anomalies early. (Note: Specific technical details of these active patches are being withheld until deployment to ensure network safety).

:locked_with_key: Epic 2: Proof of Security Audit (The CertiK Collaboration)

  • Sprint 100 (Delivered): We successfully verified and eliminated a potential data race condition within our core networking components, ensuring flawless P2P communication across the network.

  • Sprint 101 (Planned): We are working directly with CertiK to resolve complex, low-level protocol findings. Our engineers are actively addressing several confidential audit reports. This work involves hardening smart-contract interactions, optimizing critical resource allocation processes, and enforcing even stricter consensus requirements. To protect the network, the exact technical specifications of these vulnerabilities will only be disclosed once the fixes are fully deployed and verified.

:gear: Epic 3: Core Infrastructure & Maintenance

  • Sprint 100 (Delivered): To improve the reliability of our network operators, we successfully delivered the operator ms sign command, significantly reducing human error and friction in multisig transactions. We also resolved proxy synchronizations and improved the resilience of our block endpoints.

  • Sprint 101 (Planned): We are finalizing the Multisig API to allow for sequential broadcast by nonce. Crucially, for ultimate economic transparency, we are building a new read-only endpoint (/network/economics) that will expose a live breakdown of the KLV supply and pending rewards. Finally, all of these infrastructure improvements are being consolidated to prepare for the upcoming v1.7.20-rc1 release candidate.

:hammer_and_wrench: Epic 4: Ecosystem Tools (KleverScan & Smart Contracts)

  • Sprint 100 (Delivered): While security is the priority, we continued to harden our developer tools. We successfully delivered a new paid validation tool specifically designed for closed-source smart contract audits. We also incorporated the first round of community feedback into our Klever Connect Interactive Tutorial.

  • Sprint 101 (Planned): We are officially pushing our Smart Contract Verification and Audit capabilities to the Mainnet. To ensure ultimate code traceability and reproducibility for developers, we are also adding wasm-opt versioning to our contract validation processes. Additionally, the Klever Connect Interactive Tutorial will see its official deployment.

By suspending our roadmap to focus entirely on security, collaborating directly with CertiK, and proactively defending against AI-coordinated attacks, we are prioritizing the safety of our users and enterprise partners above all else.

The deliverables from Sprint 100, ranging from critical multisig improvements to strict supply behavior validations, prove that our engineering pivot is producing tangible, protective results. As we execute Sprint 101, our focus on safely resolving deep audit findings and preparing the highly transparent /network/economics endpoint will further solidify the Klever network.
