Testnet back-up

Hi team,

I’m trying to use my own indexer node with elastic search on testnet. Everything is running fine but the back-up mentioned in the documentation is not working. Can you provide a new one? This is the doc: https://backup.testnet.klever.org/kleverchain.testnet.latest.tar.gz

Hello my friend,

TY for report. We’re on it just now. I circle back here when fixed

@Duka Any chance to get an more recent back-up? This one is still over 4K behind.

@SAME1 We’re automating these backups (testnet and mainnet) on the current sprint. When done, we’ll have the newest backup always available.

That’s great! Can’t wait for that. I can’t get the node in sync. Any suggestion to pass this?

epoch = 32948 slot = 4942204 nonce = 4927129 hash = 13262ce48d6c02017379021e619690e0308bc064d6ba55f38f84d45af8f69d8a

I do use the new gasScheduleV1.yaml since epoch 32945. But whatever I try I can’t pass this one.

Hi @SAME1, I’m already checking what happened in epoch 32948 / nonce 4927129.
Could you please send your enableEpochs.yaml file for analysis?

However, there’s other way to get your node in sync without issues.
First, update your config using:

curl -k https://backup.testnet.klever.org/config.testnet.109.tar.gz \
    | tar -xz -C ./node

Instead of downloading a backup, start your node for the first time using the flag:

--start-in-epoch
