How to Export Lightning Logs in Klever Wallet (for Support Troubleshooting)

In some cases, issues related to Bitcoin Lightning transactions may require deeper technical investigation. To help our support and development teams analyze these cases accurately, Klever Wallet includes an option to export Lightning logs directly from the app.

These logs contain technical diagnostic data only and are used strictly for troubleshooting Lightning-related issues. No private keys, seed phrases, or sensitive user data are exposed.

This article explains when and how to export Lightning logs and share them with the Klever Support team.

When should I export Lightning logs?

You may be asked to export Lightning logs if you experience issues such as:

  • Lightning transactions stuck, canceled, or refunded unexpectedly

  • Missing or incorrect Lightning transaction status

  • Lightning purchases not completing as expected

  • Refunds not appearing in the Lightning account

  • Other Lightning-related behavior that cannot be diagnosed through standard transaction data

Important:
Please export Lightning logs only when requested by Klever Support, as these logs are intended for technical analysis.

Requirements

Before exporting the logs, please make sure:

  • You are using Klever Wallet version 5.44.14 or later

  • Your Lightning account status shows “Synced”

  • You have a stable internet connection

How to export Lightning logs

Follow these steps in your Klever Wallet app:

  1. Open your Lightning account in the Klever Wallet app.

  2. Wait until the Lightning account status shows “Synced.”

  3. Once synced, pull down to refresh the Lightning balance screen.

  4. Navigate to: Hub → Tech & Support → Export Lightning Logs

  5. Export the logs and send the newly generated log file to Klever Support via your support ticket.

Once exported, attach the log file directly to your Zendesk support ticket.

Is my data safe?

Yes.
The exported Lightning logs:

  • Do not contain your seed phrase or private keys

  • Do not give anyone access to your funds

  • Are used only to analyze the technical Lightning transaction flow

Klever takes user privacy and security seriously, and this feature was added only after extensive internal testing.

What happens after I submit the logs?

After you share the logs:

  1. Our technical team will analyze the Lightning flow in detail

  2. If needed, we’ll continue the investigation together with our Lightning infrastructure partner

  3. We’ll update you as soon as we have clear findings or next steps
