Attention all meme coin creators and crypto enthusiasts! :tada: The moment youā€™ve been waiting for has arrivedā€”the Klever Meme Coin Contest is back, and this time itā€™s bigger, better, and way more rewarding!

Our first edition was a smashing success, with over 500K transactions and more than 10K active addresses lighting up the Klever Blockchain. The community engagement was off the charts, and we saw some truly legendary memes come to life. But why stop there? Due to the overwhelming enthusiasm and creativity from all of you, weā€™re rolling out Klever Meme Coin Contest 2 with a prize pool thatā€™s absolutely mind-blowing: a whopping 25,000 KFI! :astonished::moneybag:

Thatā€™s right, folksā€”25,000 KFI is up for grabs! And this time, weā€™re spreading the love across the top three winners:

  • 60% for the first place winner (15,000 KFI),
  • 30% for the second place winner (7,500 KFI),
  • 10% for the third place winner (2,500 KFI).

Just like before, the winners will be the meme coins that rack up the most transactions and active addresses combined. But weā€™re shaking things up a bitā€”active addresses will now be counted as those that actually made transactions during the contest period. So, if youā€™re in it to win it, youā€™ll need to spread the word and keep that meme coin buzzing!

Hereā€™s how it all goes down:

  • The contest runs for 90 days, from September 1st, 00:00 UTC to December 1st, 11:59 PM UTC.
  • To enter, make a post in the meme-coin-contest-2 category on the forum, explaining your coin, the motivation behind your project, the link to your meme coin on KleverScan, and anything else that will get the community hyped about your meme coin.
  • Only new posts in the correct forum category will count as official entriesā€”no replies to this thread, please!
  • Thereā€™s no restriction on previous contestantsā€”youā€™re welcome to jump back in as long as you make a new post in the new category. But remember, only transactions during the contest period will be counted.

And remember, the Klever Blockchain is all about democratizing technology. Whether youā€™re a seasoned developer or someone with a killer idea but no coding experience, you can jump into this competition and create something amazing. The key is to get your meme coin out there and spread the word far and wide!

Hey bro, nop. KDA Pool are internal transfers , donā€™t count as one more transfer. Only the main transfers of KDA is countable.

Hi Duka, I have a question regarding the evaluation of the ranking for this contest.

Since more emphasis is now placed on quality rather than quantity, is there a formula for how you calculate the ranking and what importance does the active addresses have compared to the total transactions in this calculation?

So, the advent of active addresses in the formula intended to avoid ā€œfake transactions.ā€ We want the meme transactions to be real and useful for the entire community. However, they affected the final result very little on the last contest.

Iā€™m considering removing this item from the formulaā€¦ I probably will.

Real transactions make senseā€¦airdrops are not the way, because project should use funds for buildingā€¦the formula should really consider active addresses with transactions. Otherwise it would make no sense to promote anything. We keep building to get new people onboard and do transactionsā€¦all other counts would be pay to win :face_with_monocle:

Hello,

I was told by Fernanda that transactions would count for the memecoin contest that occurred during the swap contest. However, BPGOK transactions for the memecoin contest have not gone up. Why?

As I explained, we have a low swap number despite the high volume. That is why the number of transactions did not increase as you expected. We still have time to promote it and try to reach a higher number of transactions. :fire:

@Duka Is there anything new on this?
I see the live ranking on KleverRadar and wonder to what extent the active wallet addresses affect the endresult!
I mean just for my understanding 100k transactions with 20% active wallets should be worth more than 200k transactions to 4% active addressenā€¦ or do I see it wrong?

I think this was also the case in season 1.
