This story was inspired by @Asianpett article on Crypto Scams.
The reason I have fallen in love with decentralized wallet its because 2 weeks ago I put aside some of my funds to do p2p business .
Everything was great until one saturday morning , when i logged into my dashboard,
Its language was in French, guys I don’t know more than two words in French that is J’mappelle ( from that song ) and boujee.(Everything apart from that is Pure shege).
The scammer had managed to log in somehow ( yes my account had 2FA) , I guess after logging in the website he noticed he couldn’t withdraw maybe due to the 2FA code , i have no idea.
So the scammer opted to create a tether selling ad which some Morrocan guy agreed to buy usdt via usdt ( the guy bought an avocado with another avocado, yeah thats how weird it sounds.)
To cut the story short, they got away with it. I tried acting detective but guys am a designer by proffession . I will attach screenshots below of my detective capabilities, guys don’t laugh please.
(Sorry guys , It seems that I have to contact support to retrieve my account, so they noticed something was wrong after the scammer had proffessionally accomplished his life purpose)
The moral of the story is everyday choose decentralization over centralization. On p2p it would be great , if we would have a decentralized system. Klever Developers we can work on these.
Working hard and then having the assets all stolen by someone else is not just heartbreaking but also discouraging.
And like I said in my post, sometimes you can do everything you ought to by playing safe and going through all the necessary measures and yet they still find a way to take from you.
Sorry bro that happened, we can only try to find our own loopholes and take note. Also, it’s essential to have or use a good reliable platform that values customer privacy and safety like Klever Wallet.
We’d get better, more money will be made. That’s certain .

And i think thats quite a great idea,
Blockchain invention have come as a result of trying to solve problems which faced us at the past .
Now we have a problem of scammers am sure being here we are part of the solution team
@Asianpett yes mate, it can be very painful. I mean, it can happen to even the most careful person. That’s the struggle we face in the crypto space, but I think with 2FA your funds are 90% secured
