Creating My Asset on the Klever Testnet Was A Simple Journey

The Klever ecosystem never ceases to amaze me, and the Klever Explorer (or Klever Scan) is one product I hold in high regard.

It’s not just a blockchain explorer, it’s a powerhouse of simplicity and innovation that makes navigating the KleverChain seamless.

When I first applied to the Klever Ambassador Program, I remember feeling a bit overwhelmed at the thought of creating my asset. I wondered, “How would I pull this off? Would it be complicated?”

But as I began to interact more with the Klever Explorer, I quickly realized something: Klever is designed to make crypto accessible to everyone.

It was a pleasant surprise to discover how easy it is to create a token on the KleverChain, thanks to the intuitive design of the Klever Explorer. In just a few clicks, I brought my idea to life, and I couldn’t be more impressed.

For anyone out there who thinks creating an asset is a tedious task, let me assure you: it isn’t.

Klever has made it as simple as possible, so even a first-timer can accomplish it with ease.

Let me walk you through the steps I took to create my token on the Testnet environment, so you, too, can explore this incredible feature.

Steps to Create a Token on the Klever Testnet

**Step 1: Set up your Klever Wallet Extension on your Browser.

I added Klever wallet to Chrome and I added my mobile wallet instead of creating a new wallet.

**Step 2: Switch your wallet’s network to the testnet environment by configuring it accordingly. This involves switching from the mainnet to the testnet, allowing you to work exclusively with test tokens.

Step 3: Access the Klever Explorer

Step 4: Request Test KLV Tokens

  • I used the Klever Testnet faucet to get some test KLV tokens, which are required to cover transaction fees.
  • After a quick confirmation, the tokens were credited to my wallet.

Step 5: Locate the “Create Asset” Option

Step 4: Define the Token Details

  • I entered the following details for my token:

    • Name: (WINCOIN)
    • Symbol: (WIN)
    • Total Supply: The maximum number of tokens to mint.
    • Decimals: The level of precision for transactions.
  • Additionally, I selected whether the token would be mintable or burnable, depending on my vision for its use.

Step 5: Deploy the Token

  • After double-checking all the details, I paid the small transaction fee with test KLV and confirmed the deployment.
  • Within moments, my token was live on the KleverChain Testnet!

Step 6: Verify and Share

  • I quickly located my new token on the KleverChain Testnet Explorer, confirming its successful creation.
  • To ensure others could interact with it, I shared the token details and encouraged them to test it out.

My Token Details

  • Name: [WINCOIN]
  • Symbol: [WIN]
  • Total Supply: [100,000,000.00]
  • Owner Address: klv1edl8ux5tsqgdn7l4ktjqvvt63rjveq4n44qtr4c6nn9yca2t9s6qgq0vzq
  • Token: Asset IDWIN-12WD

With the Klever Explorer, creating a token is no longer reserved for blockchain developers, it’s something anyone can do.

Klever truly lives up to its promise of making crypto easy and accessible.

So, if you’ve been hesitant about creating your asset, now’s the time to give it a try.

The process is not just simple; it’s empowering!
